Silk, Hoop & Hammock

We invite all our students of all levels to immerse themselves in a training intensive that balances the artists and the warrior.

The students will be participate in a comprehensive and high-energy of skill and technical development on Aerial Silk, Aerial Hoop and Aerial Hammock.

This amazing experience keeping the search slinging in the art of floor-to-air movement while learning the intricate details of choreography and performance in this aerial apparatus. We als work to culminate in a full-length, ensemble performance for the community to enjoy.

This method allows us to explore the space in the air and the space at the ground from a dancing perspective, with its multiple artistic and expressive possibilities. Fusing the two levels as they are: earth and air, low and high.

Giving us as a final result, a group dance, a contemporary and aerial silk ballet. Preparing and opening as to the possibility of scenic performances and choreographic compositions.

Regardless of having or not prior experience and where age is not an important factor.

Time: 10:30 – 12:00 hrs.

Incorporating movement language from yoga technique and somatic movement, partner work, this class will strengthen and lengthen muscles and flexibility with a specific focus on a dancer’s body.


Dates: (Sat) 30/03 – 01/06
Time: 13:00 – 14:30 hrs.

In this class we will go through a quick warmup with exercises both on the floor and standing. Also part of this it is a physical work out to build a strong core and deep stretching to prepare for a short movement phrase at the end of the class. The level is open and our goal is to get comfortable with floor work, coordination and build up strength.
